Our Apiary
The apiary started in the spring of 2004 to produce bee products initially in small quantities and in particular honey.From the spring of 2007 we produce all bee products currently available (honey, pollen, propolis, royal jelly).Each new beekeeping year,the spring finds us here on mountains at the outskirts of Mount Paiko namely the archaeological site of Constance in West Almopia where we prepare our bees:• The proliferation of cells and transfer of new colonies in the region of Akrania, approximately 10km away in order for the bees not to be able to return to the old cells.• Renewal of Queens (tired manon)• The addition of floors and• The building of new candles• The placement of pollen-traps to collect pollen• The installation screen for the collection of propolis, etc.Around late May to early June depending on weather we collect the first amberjack flowers and blossom honey comes from flowers paliouri (thorn) and further wild clover and keep moving in
