The apiary started in the spring of 2004 to produce bee products initially in small quantities and in particular honey.

From the spring of 2007 we  produce all bee products currently available (honey, pollen, propolis, royal jelly).

Each new beekeeping year,the spring finds us here on  mountains at the outskirts of Mount Paiko namely the archaeological site of Constance in West Almopia where we prepare our bees:

• The proliferation of cells and transfer of new colonies in the region of Akrania, approximately 10km away in order for the bees not to be able to return to the old cells.

• Renewal of Queens (tired manon)

• The addition of floors and

• The building of new candles

• The placement of pollen-traps to collect pollen

• The installation screen for the collection of propolis, etc.

Around late May to early June depending on weather we collect the first amberjack flowers and blossom honey comes from flowers paliouri (thorn) and further wild clover and keep moving in
“the streets of honey” from Archangel to the Great Livadia and the limits of the Kilkis prefecture for the difficult beekeeping period of June - July from which we collect around late July to early August, our second flower. At the same time part of our apiary is transferred to the Agra region of Pella Edessa from which we collect chestnut honey around mid July.

Our beekeeping journeys continue transferring all our apiary in Chalkidiki on the second foot in the area "Parthenon" in Neos Marmaras, or the first foot in "Cassandra" according to which area "gives" the pine.

After collecting pine we are looking to find in which area of Chalkidiki the blossomed winter heather "Sousoura" grows to empower our bees and the collection of this nutrient as honey.

If the weather is fine a small harvest of honey Koumaria follows, which is the last to collect honey.

The overwintering of our bees takes place in Halkidiki or in the archaeological site of Constance.

Dealing with pests and diseases always takes place at the end of the bee season, and after the last harvest after having a rest and have stopped pollinating the colonies.

Our beekeeping practice is based on the following principles:

1. Not buying queens but we only use our own

2. We support prevention and care to get loud and clear colonies in suitable weather conditions with good queen (mother) new honeycombs in fumigated material

3. We keep up with the latest beekeeping techniques and we are subscribers at the most popular beekeeping magazines
