It is a sticky resinous substance collected by bees from various plants, rich with beeswax, pollen, enzymes and other substances and use it to seal and disinfect the inside of the nest. The color of propolis depends on the plant of origin. It has various medicinal and therapeutic properties. Used in cosmetic industry as anti-microbial. Strengthens capillaries, fights respiratory failure, inhibits the growth of melanoma and malignant tumor cells (cancer) and is antidiabetic. Propolis has many biological and pharmacological properties. The many flovonoeidi and concentration of aromatic molecules is the beginning of antibacterial, antioikis, fungal, parasitic, anti-inflammatory, anesthetic and healing action. It is also very effective in healthy oral cavity, in the form odontoplymmaton, which fights infections and various odors. It helps treat colds, sore throats, chronic pharyngitis, afthon, gastroenteritis, colitis and other diseases.

How is it consumed?

The daily recommended  dose of the spirit of propolis with pure alcohol, for adults is 10 drops in the morning and 10 pm, and  half dose for children, respectively. Drink by itself or dissolved in water. Also used externally for healing wounds.
